Il Worldhotel Casati 18 sa di poter compiere scelte importanti e incisive per rendere la sua ospitalità più sostenibile.

L’adesione a STAY FOR THE PLANET testimonia l’impegno del Gruppo e la sua messa in gioco per la salvaguardia dell’ambiente.

Con questa consapevolezza, ha aderito al programma STAY FOR THE PLANET, un progetto ideato da LifeGate – il primo network media e advisor italiano dedicato allo sviluppo sostenibile – per facilitare la riduzione dell’impatto ambientale delle strutture ricettive.

LifeGate ha misurato le performance ambientali degli Alberghi Best Western in cinque diversi ambiti e assegnato, ad ogni struttura, un rating di sostenibilità calcolato sulla base del punteggio ottenuto per ogni area di misurazione:

  • ENERGIA
  • ACQUA
  • GESTIONE DEI RIFIUTI
  • ACQUISTI A MINORE IMPATTO AMBIENTALE
  • COMPORTAMENTI VIRTUOSI

Con STAY FOR THE PLANET gli albergatori Best Western si impegnano nella gestione sostenibile della propria attività, con l’obiettivo di ridurre le emissioni di CO2. Per raggiungere questo importante traguardo ogni Albergo del Gruppo ha messo in atto una serie di azioni concrete quali:

  • Utilizzo di energia rinnovabile
  • Monitoraggio dei consumi energetici e idrici
  • Programma di raccolta differenziata
  • Acquisti “verdi”
  • Sensibilizzazione degli ospiti e formazione dello staff

The Worldhotel Casati 18  is able to make significant and decisive choices to make its hospitality more sustainable.

With this awareness has joined the STAY FOR THE PLANET, program, a project devised by LifeGate – the first Italian media and advisor network dedicated to sustainable development – to help reduce the environmental impact of accommodation facilities.

Joining STAY FOR THE PLANET witnesses to the Group’s commitment and   willingness to play a part in safeguarding the environment.

LifeGate has measured the environmental performance of Best Western Hotels in five different sectors and has assigned to each facility a sustainability rating calculated on the basis of the ranking in each audited sector:

  • ENERGY
  • WATER
  • WASTE MANAGEMENT
  • LOWER ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT PURCHASING
  • VIRTUOS BEHAVOIUR

With STAY FOR THE PLANET Best Western hoteliers are committed to the sustainable management of their activity, with the objective of reducing CO2 emissions. To achieve this important goal every Hotel in the Group has implemented a series of tangible actions such as:

  • Use of renewable energy
  • Constant monitoring of energy and water consumption to reduce waste
  • Separate waste collection program
  • “Green” procurement
  • Promoting guests’ awareness and training staff

LA TUTELA DELL’AMBIENTE HA BISOGNO DI TUTTI NOI

Per rendere ogni soggiorno più sostenibile occorre anche il vostro contributo, fatto di pochi semplici gesti:

  • Evitate di aprire le finestre quando il condizionatore o il riscaldamento sono accesi.
  • Staccate il caricabatteria quando il cellulare è carico.
  • Sono presenti gli appositi contenitori fate la raccolta differenziata. In alternativa, lasciate giornali o bottiglie accanto al cestino, li differenziamo noi
  • Per risparmiare acqua, ricordatevi di chiudere il rubinetto mentre vi lavate i denti e per risciacquarli usate il bicchiere.
  • Gel, shampoo e detergenti possono contenere sostanze inquinanti.
  • Una doccia è eco se dura poco: in cinque minuti si consumano fino a 60 litri di acqua ed energia. Seguite le indicazioni che trovate in camera e in bagno per un corretto utilizzo.
  • Se potete, utilizzate le scale invece dell’ascensore

The Worldhotel Casati 18  is able to make significant and decisive choices to make its hospitality more sustainable.

  • Avoid opening the windows when the air conditioner or heating are on.
  • Unplug the battery charger when the mobile phone battery is full.
  • Separate waste wherever the suitable containers are provided. Alternatively, leave newspapers or bottles next to the bin, and we will dispose of them
  • To save water, remember to turn off the tap while you are brushing your teeth and use the glass to rinse them.
  • Gel, shampoo and detergents may contain polluting substances.
  • A shower is environmentally-friendly if it does not last long. Follow the instructions provided in your room and bathroom for correct utilization.
  • If you can, use the stairs instead of the lift. It is good both for your health and the environment.
